Paige Charette

CHEMICAL AND BIOMOLECULAR ENGINEERING STUDENT

Originally born and raised in Massachusetts, I am an undergraduate student at NYU Tandon pursuing a degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. I have always been interested in the way our actions continue to affect the environment and have been working to engineer solutions to these environmental problems since middle school. The projects I have made have been recognized by the International Dark Sky Association for their ability to reduce light pollution in suburban environments. Currently, I work as a Teaching Assistant for the NYU General Engineering Department as the head of the communications committee. In my free time I can be found dancing in the NYU dance education program, hiking, or seeing a musical on Broadway. As I continue my undergraduate education at NYU Tandon and as a part of the GLASS program, I hope to develop the skills of the sustainable engineer and bring them forth into the projects I continue to work on.

What Have I Done

Below is a quick look into my work through the GLASS program while pursuing my bachelor's degree at NYU Tandon.
